Our B&B pension is situated below the ancient village of Cleto, surrounded by beautiful nature, among olive-trees, fruit-trees and vineyards.
Following the legend, Cleto got its name from the goddess Cleta, mother of Pentesilea the queen of the Amazons. It is reported that Cleta after the death of her daughter by the hand of Achilles in Troy, arrived in the golf of Santa Eufemia and once she came here she founded this city, where she reigned with a counsel of women, and to which she gave her name.
Cleto is an antique village with Byzantine and medieval traces, built on a rock 200 mt. above sea -level. The historic - centre until today has conserved the charm of the past times in (rural) country-life.
Going up-hill through picturesque streets you’ll also meet antique palaces with small gardens and on the top of the rock you’ll see the remains of the big castle with its impressive towers.

We are 30 km from the international airport of Lamezia Terme.
20 km from the highway Salerno –Reggio.
10 km from the coast and the tourist port of Amantea.
Not far from Cosenza and Catanzaro.
And not far from the Eolian islands.
You easily arrive on the highway NA-RC gateway Falerna and then following the SS18 for 7 km until Campora S. Giovanni, or NA-RC gateway Lagonegro and then SS18 for 100 km direction south.
